13008 Western Avenue, built in 1890. Pictured in this photo are C.L. and Bertha Buss, Al Reuss Jr., Swen Johnson, and John Stueke.  Mike Mangold is the boy on the right. Mail Carrier is Mike Barney. He was the first mail carrier in Blue Island. Mrs. Mangold is in the window. The building's facade was drastically altered in the early 1930s and still stands.
